Bookatable leads competitors in both number of bookable restaurants and seated diners in Germany.
Livebookings, a global leader in online reservations and marketing services for restaurants, today announced that its consumer brand, Bookatable.de, has become the top destination for German consumers looking for real-time restaurant information and reservations. With over 1,300 restaurants in Germany bookable online, Bookatable.de sends more seated diners to restaurants in Germany than any other website.
The momentum in the German market is consistent with that of the core business: the company recently processed its 20 millionth cover and the number of European diners delivered in the quarter ending June 30, 2011 hit a record 2.6 million – 1 million more than its closest competitor.
“Germany continues to be an important part of our business, with nearly 30% of restaurants in major cities like Hamburg and Munich using the Livebookings platform and accepting reservations on Bookatable.de” said Colin Tenwick, CEO of Livebookings. “We continue to deliver value to German restaurants in terms of operational efficiencies and revenue growth from seated diners, and despite increasing competition, continue to see growth in our key metrics.”
